Our Story

Who Are We

At the SEGA Intercontinental Book of Records Legacy, we are the global vanguard of human achievement. We exist to discover, verify, and immortalize the extraordinary. Operating on a worldwide scale, we collaborate with elite international partners and renowned subject-matter experts to maintain the absolute highest standard of record-keeping.

We bridge ancient prestige with cutting-edge technology to celebrate the best of the world.

International Partners · Highest Standard

One Standard Across 29 Nations

SEGA International works with accredited partners across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East & Africa, Europe and the Americas. Every partner adjudicates to the same rulebook, the same evidence chain and the same AI verification engine — so a SEGA record means the same thing in Kuala Lumpur, London or São Paulo.

Unified Rulebook

Published rules and record-specific guidelines, versioned and applied identically worldwide.

Certified Adjudicators

Trained adjudicators and stewards in partner nations, on-site or via secure live stream.

AI Biomechanics

Pose tracking, crowd counting and stability analysis provide objective, frame-by-frame evidence.

Permanent Registry

Ratified records are etched into the global registry with a verifiable certificate number.

Integrity First

How We Verify

Integrity and accuracy are the absolute foundations of our legacy. To ensure every record is undisputed, we employ a rigorous, multi-tiered verification process utilizing the highest level of international standards.

01

1Digital Evidence

All primary evidence—including unedited video footage, time-logs, and sworn witness statements—is securely submitted through our encrypted online portal.

02

2Global Expert Review

Our network of international partners carefully analyzes the submission. We cross-reference data against strict, globally recognized rubrics to ensure no detail is overlooked.

03

3Adjudication

Depending on the record, certified adjudicators monitor the attempt in real-time on-site or via secure, high-definition live-streaming for online verification.

04

4Final Ratification

Once authenticated by our international committee, the record is permanently etched into the global registry, and the legacy is born.

● Live AI Adjudication

Verified live, from anywhere

Approved applicants receive a secure session link. Open it on a phone or laptop and our AI goes to work while adjudicators watch live from the SEGA console.

Rules & Regulations

These general rules apply to every attempt. Each approved application also receives record-specific guidelines, which take precedence where they differ.

01General Eligibility
  • Open to individuals, groups, organisations and institutions worldwide.
  • Applicants under 18 must apply through a parent or legal guardian, who signs the consent form and is present (in person or on camera) for the attempt.
  • The attempt must be the applicant's own genuine performance — no impersonation, stand-ins or substitutes.
  • SEGA may decline any proposal that is unsafe, unlawful, offensive, harmful to people, animals or the environment, or not objectively measurable.
02Application & Approval
  • Submit your proposal through the Official Record Application. No attempt is recognised without prior written approval.
  • On approval you receive: record-specific guidelines, the figure to beat (or a new-category benchmark), the verification method (on-site adjudicator or Live AI link) and your session code.
  • Guidelines are valid for 12 months from issue. Changes to title, venue, date or format require re-approval.
03Evidence Standards
  • Continuous, unedited video of the entire attempt, start to finish, with a visible clock or the SEGA live overlay.
  • Two independent witnesses (not related to the applicant) with signed statements; two timekeepers for timed records.
  • Measurements taken with calibrated equipment; photographs of the venue, setup and equipment.
  • No filters, cuts, speed changes, or AI-generated or altered media. Tampering results in a permanent global ban.
  • Keep all original files for 24 months after ratification.
04Live AI Verification (Online)
  • Open the session link issued by SEGA on a phone or laptop with a stable connection (5 Mbps upload recommended). Use a fixed tripod — no handheld filming.
  • Keep the full body (or the whole participant zone) in frame at all times, with even lighting and a clear background.
  • The AI overlay, session code and clock are burned into the stream and must not be covered.
  • The adjudicator starts the countdown from the SEGA console unless self-start has been authorised for your session.
  • A connection loss of more than 10 seconds during an attempt voids that attempt unless the local backup recording is submitted and accepted.
  • AI readings are an adjudication aid. Final ratification is always made by the SEGA adjudication panel.
05Mass Participation Records
  • Each camera covers one numbered zone, and zones must not overlap. Every zone joins the same session with its own station; the console totals all zones.
  • Participants must be fully inside their zone and visible for the entire required duration. Anyone who leaves the zone is not counted.
  • The AI counts continuously. The certified figure is the sustained count — participants present throughout the required duration — confirmed by stewards (minimum 1 steward per 50 participants) and the adjudicator's final count.
  • A registration list or wristband count must be supplied for reconciliation. Re-entry, substitutes or counting the same person in two zones voids that zone.
06Static Hold & Stability Records
  • Move into position during the countdown. Timing starts at GO, when the AI captures your baseline pose.
  • The AI measures shake (jitter) as a percentage of your torso length and drift away from the baseline pose, every frame.
  • Exceeding the approved tolerance for longer than the grace period is a fault. Depending on your guidelines, a fault either ends the attempt (strict) or is recorded and penalised (scored).
  • No touching walls, supports or other people unless your guidelines allow it.
  • Tolerance, grace period and target time are stated in your guidelines and locked in the console before the attempt.
07Timed & Endurance Records
  • The performer must stay in frame. Leaving the frame for longer than the permitted grace is logged as a fault and may end the attempt.
  • Rest breaks only as specified in the guidelines; every break is logged on the stream.
08Safety, Risk & Prohibited Attempts
  • SEGA does not encourage any high-risk attempt that could cause injury or death. Such proposals are declined, or must be redesigned to a safe standard before approval.
  • Every attempt, rehearsal and submission is made entirely at the participant's own risk. SEGA Intercontinental is not responsible for any injury, illness, loss or death arising from it — see the Terms & Conditions.
  • The applicant is responsible for their own health and fitness, medical clearance, safety measures, equipment, venue, permits and insurance. Medical personnel are mandatory for physically demanding attempts.
  • Prohibited: fire, explosives and weapons; vehicle, height or water stunts; dangerous or distressed animals; excessive eating or drinking; alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants; self-harm; extreme deprivation of sleep, food or water; invasive medical procedures; and anything unlawful.
  • Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or distress. SEGA adjudicators may stop any attempt at any time on safety grounds.
09Adjudication, Disputes & Appeals
  • Results are provisional until ratified by the International Committee, normally within 30 days of complete evidence.
  • Appeals must be sent in writing to info@sega-intercontinental.com within 14 days of the decision, with any new evidence. The committee's appeal decision is final.
10Certificates & Personal Legacy Page
  • Ratified record holders receive the official goat-skin parchment certificate with wax seal and a unique certificate number, plus a personal legacy page at a permanent web address.
  • Every ratified record holder also receives an official SEGA medal. Postage is charged separately; medals presented on site are handed over in person.
  • Every certificate can be verified in the online registry.
  • When a record is broken, the original page is preserved and marked "Former Record Holder".
11Code of Conduct & Revocation
  • Fraud, misrepresentation, abuse of officials or breach of these rules leads to revocation of the record, removal of the legacy page and a ban from future attempts.
  • The SEGA name, seal and certificate design may only be used as licensed to the record holder.
12Data, Video & Privacy
  • Using a live session link means consenting to camera access, AI analysis in your browser and live streaming to SEGA adjudicators. Recordings are kept as evidence.
  • See our Privacy Policy & Terms.
13Quality Classification — AAA · AA · A
  • Every ratified record is graded Class 1 AAA, Class 2 AA or Class 3 A on its quality score out of 100: difficulty (35), uniqueness (30), execution (25) and evidence (10).
  • Class badges cannot be purchased. Paid add-ons add verification badges only — never a class.
  • Class 1 AAA needs a score of 95+, zero faults, two camera angles at 1080p, and either an onsite adjudicator or the Strict Online Protocol.
  • Attempts below the Class 3 standard are not ratified. You may re-attempt within your guidelines period to upgrade your class.
  • Full criteria: Quality Classes.
14Strict Online Protocol (Class 1 AAA online)
  • Two stations (front and side cameras) joined to the same session, each passing the AI camera check: 1080p at 30 fps or more.
  • Live identity check with photo ID, and a 360° room scan before the attempt.
  • A liveness challenge — a random move and a one-time code sent by the console — completed in front of the cameras.
  • An unbroken attempt: no connection loss over 5 seconds, no switching apps, AI frame rate at 10 fps or more, local evidence recording on.
  • Two SEGA adjudicators watching live, then a full review of both recordings by the Records Panel. Any failed check means the attempt is not eligible for AAA, though it may still be ratified at AA or A.
15Fees, Add-ons & Charges
  • Package fees are shown on the offers section. Online verification through SEGA Live AI is included in every package.
  • Onsite verification, private investigation verification and internal auditor verification are optional add-ons. Each badge is charged separately and quoted in writing before payment. Onsite verification is included at the UYSF World Yoga Championship in Ghaziabad.
  • Quality class badges are awarded on merit and have no fee. Paying a fee or add-on does not guarantee ratification or any class.
  • Medal postage is charged separately.

SEGA Intercontinental reserves the right to amend these rules. The version in force at the time of approval applies to your attempt.

◆ The SEGA way · 8 steps ◆

How to Achieve Your Record

We studied how the world's top record books work — search, apply, wait for guidelines, gather evidence, wait for review — and rebuilt every step to be clearer, safer and faster to prove. Record holders aren't born; they're made, one practice session at a time.

1

Step 1 · Discover

Find a record that fits you

  • Browse 21 categories — each with published basic guidelines.
  • Search the registry by ID, name or category to see the figure to beat.
  • No idea yet? The Record Finder suggests records that suit you.

✦ Better: Guidelines for every category are published up front — you know the basics before you pay anything.

2

Step 2 · Apply

Apply online in five minutes

  • Choose your package — from USD 125 — and any optional verification add-ons.
  • Describe the attempt, the date and where it will happen.
  • Accept the Terms & Conditions: safety first, at your own risk.

✦ Better: Clear, published prices and add-ons — no hidden adjudication fees.

3

Step 3 · Safety review

We screen every proposal

  • Is it safe? High-risk proposals are declined or redesigned.
  • Is it measurable, breakable and verifiable?
  • Is it new — or is the figure to beat confirmed?

✦ Better: Safety first: we never encourage attempts that risk injury or worse.

4

Step 4 · Guidelines

Receive your personal guideline pack

  • The exact rules, your target and the evidence list.
  • Your class criteria — what AA and AAA demand for your record.
  • Your verification method and secure Live AI session code, valid for 12 months.

✦ Better: You know exactly what AAA requires before you start training.

5

Step 5 · Rehearse

Rehearse with the judging AI — free

  • Practice mode measures shake, drift, presence or crowd count exactly like the adjudicators.
  • Train for 10–20% above your target so nerves don’t cost you the record.
  • Run the Class 1 online check to test cameras, ID, room scan and liveness.

✦ Better: Practise with the same AI that judges you on the day.

6

Step 6 · Attempt

Attempt online — or onsite

  • Online Live AI verification is included with every package.
  • Add an onsite adjudicator, private investigation or internal audit for extra badges.
  • The AI records and timestamps the evidence chain while you perform.

✦ Better: Evidence is captured for you — incomplete evidence is one of the most common reasons record claims fail.

7

Step 7 · Assessment

Quality assessment & ratification

  • The panel scores difficulty, uniqueness, execution and evidence.
  • Your score sets your class: AAA ≥ 95 · AA ≥ 85 · A ≥ 75.
  • Ratified normally within 30 days of complete evidence.

✦ Better: Not just pass or fail — your record is graded for quality.

8

Step 8 · Legacy

Your legacy, forever

  • Goat-skin parchment certificate with the official SEGA logo, wax seal and QR verification.
  • Official SEGA medal for every record holder (postage separate).
  • Your own personal website, e.g. /james0001, found on Google.

✦ Better: A certificate, a medal and a personal website — in every package.

Strict rules for every class

  • One continuous attempt — no cuts, edits, filters, zoom or speed changes.
  • Full body (or the whole zone) visible from the countdown to the final second.
  • The SEGA AI overlay, clock and session code must stay unobstructed.
  • Anything below the Class 3 standard is not ratified.
  • AI metrics, auditor findings and the quality score are evidence; the adjudication panel awards the class.
  • Class badges can't be bought — paid add-ons add verification badges only.
  • Tampering, impersonation or false evidence means rejection and a permanent ban.
  • Re-attempt within your 12-month guidelines to upgrade your class.

Movement standards

  • Static holds: match the reference alignment in your guidelines; supporting foot or hands stay planted; no touching walls, props or people.
  • Repetitions: a rep counts only when both the start and end positions are reached — no bouncing or momentum.
  • Flows & sequences: the order and every pose are fixed in your guidelines; a skipped pose is a fault.
  • Mass participation: start together on the countdown and hold the specified pose for the full duration; stewards subtract non-compliant participants.
  • Timed & endurance: continuous activity at the required standard; rest only as specified.

Quality submission checklist

  • Landscape video on a stable tripod, at the resolution and frame rate for your class.
  • Front angle always; side angle required for AAA (online: two cameras on the Strict Online Protocol).
  • Original audio kept — the countdown must be audible.
  • Original files only (not WhatsApp-compressed), uploaded through the link we send you.
  • Signed witness statements with contact details.
  • Photos or certificates of measuring equipment.
  • Submit before your class deadline and keep your originals for 24 months.

How classes are awarded

Quality score = Difficulty + Uniqueness + Execution + Evidence

The adjudication panel scores every ratified record out of 100. Execution also has hard limits — AAA allows zero faults (see the table above).

0DifficultyHow demanding it is — the skill, strength, stamina or precision it takes.
0UniquenessHow original it is — a new idea or rare feat scores higher than a common one.
0ExecutionHow perfectly it was done — form, faults, AI stability, movement standard.
0EvidenceHow complete the proof is — video quality, angles, witnesses and data.

✦ Try it — score an idea

85 / 100

Class 2 · AA

● Class 1 AAA — from home

The Strict Online Protocol

Yes — you can earn Class 1 AAA online. But only under our strictest system: seven checks enforced by SEGA Live AI and two remote adjudicators. Miss any one and your record can still be ratified — just not as AAA.

  1. Two camerasFront and side, each on a tripod, both joined to your session.
  2. Camera checkThe AI confirms full HD (1080p) at 30 fps or more on each camera.
  3. Identity checkHold your photo ID beside your face for 5 seconds. The adjudicator matches it live — it's never published.
  4. 360° room scanTurn the camera slowly around the room, so we can see there are no helpers, hidden supports or edits.
  5. Liveness challengeThe console sends a random move and a one-time code. The AI must see the move, and the code is burned into your video.
  6. Unbroken attemptNo connection drop over 5 seconds, no switching apps, AI at full speed — from countdown to finish.
  7. Two adjudicators + panel reviewTwo SEGA adjudicators watch live, and the Records Panel reviews the full recordings before AAA is awarded.

Training playbooks

Train Like a Record Holder

How to train

  • Start at a time you can hold with perfect form, then add 10–15% each week.
  • Fix your eyes on one point (drishti) and slow your breathing to stay still.
  • Strengthen your base — core, ankles and shoulders — three times a week.
  • Practise on the same surface and in the same clothing you'll use on the day.
  • Rest at least one day a week. Tired muscles shake.

Attempt-day checklist

  • Tripod 2–3 m away with your whole body in frame.
  • Light in front of you, plain background behind.
  • 10–15 minutes of warm-up.
  • Get into position during the countdown — the AI captures your starting pose at GO.
  • Slow breath, steady gaze, relaxed face.

Live AI tip

Steady holds read about 0.5–1.5% shake; most sessions use a 3% tolerance. Practise until your stability stays above 80% for your full target time.

Test My Stability

How to plan

  • Register 10–20% more people than you need — some won't turn up.
  • Book a venue with room for numbered, non-overlapping zones.
  • Recruit at least 1 steward per 50 participants.
  • Use a registration list or wristbands for reconciliation.
  • Rehearse the movement with everyone at least once.

Attempt-day checklist

  • One phone or laptop per zone, mounted high on a tripod.
  • Everyone fully inside their zone for the whole duration.
  • Start together on the adjudicator's countdown.
  • Hold for the full required time — the sustained count is what counts.

Live AI tip

Run a crowd-count practice in each zone. If someone doesn't get a box, raise the camera or tighten the zone so nobody is hidden behind another person.

Test a Zone

How to train

  • One long session a week, adding about 10% each time.
  • Practise your pacing — finish strong, don't start fast.
  • Plan hydration and nutrition within the rules.
  • Sleep well in the week before your attempt.
  • Get medical clearance for long attempts.

Attempt-day checklist

  • Medical person present for long attempts.
  • Know your rest-break rules before you start.
  • Stay in frame at all times.
  • Turn on the backup recording.

Live AI tip

In practice, check that “Performer in frame” stays on through your full range of movement. Adjust the camera until it never drops.

Test My Setup

How to train

  • Master clean technique first, then add speed.
  • Film every session and count reps exactly as the rules will.
  • Use the same equipment you'll use on the day.
  • Time yourself with an official stopwatch app.

Attempt-day checklist

  • Two independent witnesses and two timekeepers.
  • Calibrated measuring equipment, photographed.
  • One continuous, unedited video.

Rules tip

Read Rule 03 — Evidence Standards before you train, so every practice session matches the real thing.

Never train through pain. Applicants under 18 train and attempt with a parent or guardian.

✦ Record Finder

What record could you set?

Two quick questions — and we'll show you records that suit you.

1 · Who is attempting?

2 · What's your strength?

Questions We Hear Most

?Do I need to be a professional athlete?

No. Records are set by students, teachers, office teams, families and communities. What matters is a clear, measurable achievement done to the rules.

?Can I attempt from home?

Yes — approved attempts can be verified online with the SEGA Live AI link. Or attempt it live on site at the UYSF World Yoga Championship in Ghaziabad on 23 December 2026 and take your medal and certificate home that day.

?Can I get Class 1 AAA online?

Yes — under the Strict Online Protocol: two cameras, a camera check, a live ID check, a 360° room scan, a liveness challenge, an unbroken stream and two remote adjudicators. You also need a quality score of 95 or more.

?Are the badges extra?

Online verification is included in every package. Onsite verification, private investigation and internal audit are optional add-ons, each charged separately (onsite is included at the Ghaziabad championship). Class badges are never sold — they're awarded on the quality of your achievement.

?Is my attempt safe — and who is responsible?

We don't encourage any high-risk attempt and we decline proposals that could cause injury. Every attempt and submission is made at your own risk — please read the Terms & Conditions.

?How long should I train?

It depends on the record — many people plan 4–12 weeks. Your guidelines stay valid for 12 months, so you can attempt when you're at your best.

?What do I receive?

Your goat-skin parchment certificate, an official SEGA medal (postage separate), and a free personal website with your story, photos and achievements, plus your own record ID in the global registry.

Privacy Policy

See also our Terms & Conditions.

1. Data Sovereignty & Protection

SEGA Intercontinental Book of Records Legacy utilizes advanced encryption methods to protect the integrity of all submitted evidence. Personal bio-data, primary evidence materials (including unedited video and logs), and witness statements are strictly confidential until a record is officially ratified and published with explicit consent.

2. Submission Terms

By submitting an application through this website, the applicant guarantees that all provided materials are authentic, unedited, and obtained legally. Any fabrication or tampering will result in an immediate, permanent global ban from the SEGA Registry.

3. Live Video & AI Analysis

Live verification uses your camera only after you give consent. Pose tracking and participant counting run inside your browser; the annotated video, measurements and results are streamed to SEGA adjudicators for the session and may be recorded as evidence. No biometric templates are created or stored for identification purposes. Under the Strict Online Protocol, your photo ID is shown live to the adjudicator only to confirm your identity — ID images are never published or added to your legacy page.

4. Intellectual Property

The "SEGA Legacy" branding, exact certificate design (Goat Skin Parchment & Gold-leaf Seal), and specific AI verification rubrics remain the strict intellectual property of the organization. Record holders are granted a royalty-free license to display their achievement sub-site and digital certificates.

Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms before you apply, rehearse or attempt a record.

Safety first · your own risk

We do not encourage any high-risk attempt that could bring injury or death, and we will not be responsible for any of this. Every attempt and submission is entirely at your own risk.

01

Acceptance

By applying, joining a live session, rehearsing with SEGA Live AI or attempting a record, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, the Rules & Regulations and the Privacy Policy. A parent or legal guardian accepts them on behalf of anyone under 18.

02

Safety first — we do not encourage high-risk attempts

SEGA Intercontinental Book of Records Legacy does not encourage, promote or accept any attempt that carries a high risk of injury or death. Proposals involving such risk are declined, or must be redesigned to an acceptable safety standard before approval. Approval of a proposal is not a confirmation that it is safe for you.

03

Your own risk

Every attempt, training session, rehearsal and submission — online or onsite — is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk. You are solely responsible for your health and fitness, medical clearance, safety measures, equipment, venue, permits, insurance and the safety of anyone helping or watching.

04

No responsibility for injury, loss or death

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SEGA Intercontinental, its partners, adjudicators, officials, staff and volunteers are not responsible or liable for any injury, illness, death, loss or damage of any kind arising from any attempt, training, rehearsal or submission. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

05

Medical fitness

You confirm you are fit to make the attempt and have taken medical advice where appropriate. Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness or distress. Adjudicators may stop or void any attempt on safety grounds, and their decision is final.

06

Prohibited attempts

Fire, explosives and weapons; vehicle, height or water stunts; dangerous, distressed or harmed animals; excessive eating or drinking; alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants; self-harm; extreme deprivation of sleep, food or water; invasive medical procedures; environmental harm; and anything unlawful in the place of the attempt.

07

Minors

Applicants under 18 apply through a parent or legal guardian, who must consent and be present for the attempt. High-risk, heavy-weight and deprivation records are not open to minors.

08

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify SEGA Intercontinental against claims by third parties — including helpers, participants, spectators and venue owners — arising from your attempt or your breach of these terms.

09

Fees, add-ons and charges

Package prices are published on this website. Online verification through SEGA Live AI is included. Onsite verification, private investigation verification and internal auditor verification are optional add-ons, each charged separately and quoted in writing before payment; onsite verification is included at the UYSF World Yoga Championship, Ghaziabad. Medal postage is charged separately. Any refund is handled as stated on your invoice.

10

Quality classification

Class 1 AAA, Class 2 AA and Class 3 A badges are awarded at the sole discretion of the adjudication panel on the quality of the achievement — its difficulty, uniqueness, execution and evidence. Classes cannot be purchased, and no fee or add-on guarantees ratification or any class.

11

Evidence and authenticity

All evidence must be genuine, unedited and lawfully obtained. Fabrication, impersonation or tampering leads to rejection or revocation, removal of the legacy page and a permanent ban.

12

Publication

Ratified records, with the holder’s name, photographs, story and certificate, are published in the SEGA registry and on the holder’s personal legacy website. You may ask us to remove personal details that are not part of the record itself.

13

Changes and governing law

SEGA may update these terms; the version in force when your proposal is approved applies to your attempt. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
